How To Effectively Recover From Excessive Adrenal Fatigue

Although adrenal fatigue is a relatively new medical term, which was first introduced in 1998, a lot of people are already suffering from it. You need to keep in mind that you have to take this disorder seriously as it can have serious implications on your overall health.

Aside from the fact that adrenal fatigue can get you to feel severely physically and mentally exhausted, it can also cause other undesirable conditions, such as insomnia, depression, and obesity just to name a few.

So, what causes adrenal fatigue?

For starters, adrenal fatigue is commonly caused by stress and anxiety. You have to keep in mind that whenever we feel stressed, our adrenal glands produces hormones in order for us to deal with stress. One particular hormone that is produced by the adrenal glands to deal with stress is cortisol.

You also need to keep in mind that adrenal fatigue cannot happen overnight. It will take years of abusing your body and taking it to the limits that you will start noticing some changes in your energy levels.

Many people who experiences adrenal fatigue is in their late twenties or early thirties. They experience adrenal fatigue because they usually push themselves to the limit when they start their careers in their early or mid twenties. In most cases, these people will often wake up very early in the morning and sleep very late at night. There are even people who constantly do all-nighters in order to get them ahead of the pack and get promoted by the company they are working for.

These things will cause a lot of stress in your body, which will eventually lead to adrenal fatigue. When you experience adrenal fatigue, you will not only feel extremely exhausted, but you will also feel it even when you wake up in the morning.

It will seem as if that you never even slept at all even if you did. Excessive adrenal fatigue can really affect your life in a very negative way. Professionally, you will not be able to concentrate on your work and your thoughts will be foggy and hazy throughout the entire day.

It can also severely affect your personal life as you will feel moody, irritable, and simply just too tired. You will find it hard to communicate with your family and friends and you will also spend less time with your kids if you have any because all you will want to do is sleep or rest.

So, how can you recover from excessive adrenal fatigue?

For starters, you can try letting go of excess work. It may be hard on you financially but it will eventually help you deal with stress a lot better.

You should also start slowing down a bit and start simplifying things that you need to do in life. By being more organized and you will feel less stress and get your life back on track.

Lastly, you have to live a healthier lifestyle. This means that aside from avoiding stress as much as possible, you should also try eating healthy and exercise.

Remember these tips and you can be sure that you will be able to effectively recover from adrenal fatigue.
