Usually our softwares periodically connect to the internet to check if your license is still valid or not; this is done to protect our softwares from pirates! However this check does not even last more than 1-2 seconds and should not interfere at all with your normal work.

Please note that in very rare cases when the software keeps hanging on forever and offers no response, all you need to do is to close the program manually, or use either Windows™ task manager or Process explorer to end that process and restart the software. BEFORE restarting the software make sure you are connected to the internet! The error should not occur again!

Did you put the article text files and the template files in separate folders, and made sure that you are saving the webpages into a third folder? Basically having 3 folders is the best way to use it. This is not a rule but just a suggestion. First of all, please use the Desktop for this task! Second, please create the 3 subfolders, each for the article text files, the template files and the webpages and see if that solves the issue! Another thing you can do is to re-download the templates once more. Sometimes they get corrupted for various reasons!

If the issue persists then please contact us. Please note however that you must be using the standard templates supplied with the software when the problem(s) occurred! We DO NOT support any kind of "template modifications"; if you customize any template then you are pretty much on your own! We can however suggest that you learn some HTML, if you have not already, before you try modifying the templates in any way! Thanks!
